Background
Founded in 1912, The London School of English (LSE) is the longest-established accredited English language school in the world. LSE provides a wide variety of business and professional courses for students from over 71 countries.
With 60 staff and two schools in London, LSE has experienced exceptional growth over the years. As a result, they were looking for a partner who could upgrade their IT capability to meet new demands, deliver internal efficiencies and offer better solutions for their staff and students.
The challenge
- After an initial consultation, Doherty identified a number of areas for improvement. These included:
- a new IT structure that would accommodate LSE’s growing needs including a new booking system
- improved links between their two London sites
- cut down on technical staff needing to make expensive trips between offices.
- external access to e-mail was necessary as staff travel globally to meet clients and business partners
