Are your emails and website compliant with the Companies Act?
New legal obligations have come into force since January 1st that instruct companies to include certain important details in their emails and on their websites.
For instance, both email footers and websites must now contain a company’s registered office address, registration number and place of registration.
The relevant provisions are from the Companies Act 2006 - specifically the First Commencement Order and Regulations Implementing the First Company Law Amendment Directive. Doherty Associates recommend that you view the directive in full and ensure that you are compliant with the provisions.
