For business owners the thought of their sensitive customer information or company data being exploited is horrifying. There have been cases where businesses have had sensitive data stolen from the Cloud, but there are ways to avoid this happening. The Cloud is easy to access, convenient, and a better economic choice than buying more physical storage when your needs increase. Fortunately, there a few things that you can do to keep your data secure in the cloud.

  • Make sure the data has been encrypted

 

  • Create a backup schedule

 

  • Set a strict company policy about appropriate Cloud storage and access

 

 

  • Don't put very sensitive data in the Cloud
